Och kan rapportera att \u00e4nnu en superv\u00e4rsting har avsl\u00f6jats i kosmos, \u00e4nnu en rekordh\u00e5llare korats:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\">Supernovan 2008am har f\u00f6ljts upp av av Texas-astronomerna  <strong>Emmanouil &#8220;Manos&#8221; Chatzopoulos<\/strong> och  <strong>J Craig Wheeler<\/strong>, knutna till The University of Texas i Austin och dess supernovajakt,\u00a0 och <a href=\"http:\/\/adsabs.harvard.edu\/abs\/2011ApJ...729..143C\" target=\"_self\">visat sig vara den h\u00e4ftigaste supernovasm\u00e4llen<\/a> till dags dato.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left;\">SN 2008am  \u00e4r ett exempel p\u00e5 en \u201d&#8221;self-interacting&#8221; stj\u00e4rnsm\u00e4ll, d\u00e4r material fr\u00e5n stj\u00e4rnan kastats ut periodvis och bildat ett skal runt stj\u00e4rnan. N\u00e4r d\u00e4refter den h\u00e4ftiga explosionen skett, den totala kollapsen,  har chockv\u00e5gen fr\u00e5n kraschen i sin tur hunnit upp och v\u00e4xelverkat med gasskalet.
