Men nu har Voyager-farkosterna kommit s\u00e5 l\u00e5ngt ut i solsysmenet att solen inte st\u00f6r l\u00e4ngre, och nu kan spektrometern ombord studera tidigare &#8220;f\u00f6rbjudna&#8221; omr\u00e5den i stj\u00e4rnbilderna Scorpius\/Skorpionen och Ophiochus\/Ormb\u00e4raren.<\/p>\n<p>Ly\u03b1-emissionen h\u00e4rr\u00f6r fr\u00e5n Vintergatans stj\u00e4rnf\u00f6dande trakter, i vilka v\u00e4tets elektroner skiftar energiniv\u00e5er. Fenomenet har hittills bara observerats i avl\u00e4gsna galaxer (= unga galaxer), d\u00e4r r\u00f6df\u00f6rskjutningen flyttar in den ursprungliga UV-str\u00e5lningen till den optiska delen av spektrumet.
