I decennier har Reinhard Genzel och Andrea Ghez med sina fors\u00adkargrupper f\u00f6ljt stj\u00e4rnorna kring Vintergatans centrum och de kom var f\u00f6r sig fram till samma slutsats: mitt i v\u00e5r hemgalax, Vintergatan, gapar ett gigantiskt svart h\u00e5l &#8211; Sagittarius A*.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-26348\" title=\"F\u00f6rerm\u00e5l f\u00f6r Crafoord-vinnande forskning. Enda s\u00e4ttet att utforska dem \u00e4r att se efter vilken verkan deras gravitation har p\u00e5 omgivningen. Genom att stu\u00addera stj\u00e4rnornas banor n\u00e4ra Vintergatans centrum kunde Reinhard Genzel och Andrea Ghez och deras forskarkollegor uppskatta massan hos det svarta h\u00e5let till omkring fyra miljoner solmassor.<\/p>\n<p>Sagittarius A* \u00e4r v\u00e5rt n\u00e4rmaste supermassiva svarta h\u00e5l.
