Den extramassa som d\u00f6ljer sig i systemet h\u00e4rr\u00f6r fr\u00e5n en m\u00f6rk dv\u00e4rggalax, en mindre satelitgalax som inte kan observeras direkt av Keck II (10 m i diameter) men v\u00e4l s\u00e5 h\u00e4r indirekt.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6r denna m\u00e4rkliga uppt\u00e4ckt svarar MIT-forskaren, italienskan<strong> Simona Vegetti<\/strong> (t v) &#8211; utbildad bl a i Holland p\u00e5 det astronomiska Kapteyn-institutet, Groningen &#8211;\u00a0 och hennes internationella team.<\/p>\n<p>Det \u00e4r klart att den m\u00f6rka materien \u00e4ven sp\u00f6kar h\u00e4r ute liksom teoribildningen kring galaxers uppkomst och utveckling. Mer och mer st\u00f6ds teorierna kring i ett &#8220;hierarkiskt&#8221; universum, d\u00e4r galaxer bit f\u00f6r bit \u00e4ter upp sig genom sammanslagningar och dramatisk v\u00e4xelverkan. Just d\u00e4rf\u00f6r \u00e4r en av g\u00e5torna varf\u00f6r vi bara hittat ett 30-tal dv\u00e4rggalaxer runt Vintergatan n\u00e4r det borde finnas kanske 1000-tals.<\/p>\n<p>Tv\u00e5 ytterligare bra sajter med massor av extrainfo om forskaren och forskningen:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/physics\/people\/pappalardo\/vegetti_simona.html\">http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/physics\/people\/pappalardo\/vegetti_simona.html<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/physics\/index.html\">http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/physics\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Exoplanet f\u00f6rintas<\/h2>\n<p>K-dv\u00e4rgen KIC 12557548 omges av en liten planet av 2-3 ggr Merkurius storlek, som snurrar runt sin sol p\u00e5 drygt 15 t\/varv.
