{"id":52275,"date":"2014-07-30T21:26:15","date_gmt":"2014-07-30T20:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/?p=52275"},"modified":"2014-08-02T20:16:36","modified_gmt":"2014-08-02T19:16:36","slug":"nr-78-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/2014\/07\/30\/nr-78-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Nr 78 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><u>Veckans ESO-nytt:<br \/>\n\t<\/u><\/h3>\n<h2>Dubbelstj&auml;rna &#8211; ett hem f&ouml;r planetskapande?<\/h2>\n<p>Astronomer har med hj&auml;lp av ALMA hittat <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eso.org\/public\/news\/eso1423\">ett &ouml;verraskande par gasskivor d&auml;r nya planeter bildas.<\/a> De b&aring;da gasskivorna, som kretsar kring de tv&aring; unga stj&auml;rnorna som utg&ouml;r dubbelstj&auml;rnan HK Tauri, snurrar p&aring; helt olika s&auml;tt trots att de h&ouml;r ihop. De nya ALMA-observationerna ger forskare den b&auml;sta bilden hittills av protoplanet&auml;ra skivor i ett dubbelstj&auml;rnesystem. Det nya resultatet bidrar &auml;ven till att f&ouml;rklara varf&ouml;r s&aring; m&aring;nga exoplaneter &ndash; till skillnad fr&aring;n planeterna i v&aring;rt solsystem &ndash; har konstiga, avl&aring;nga eller lutande banor. Resultaten publiceras i tidskriften <em>Nature <\/em>den 31 juli 2014.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><span>\u2606 De tv&aring; stj&auml;rnorna i<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spacetelescope.org\/images\/opo9905m\/\"><span> systemet<\/span><\/a><span> <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spacetelescope.org\/images\/opo9905m\/\"><span>HK Tauri<\/span><\/a><\/strong><span><strong>, <\/strong>som ligger ca 450 ljus&aring;r fr&aring;n jorden i stj&auml;rnbilden Oxen\/Taurus <\/span><span>, &auml;r mindre &auml;n fem miljoner &aring;r gamla och separerade med cirka 58 miljarder kilometer &ndash; vilket &auml;r 13 g&aring;nger avst&aring;ndet mellan Neptunus och solen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/eso1423d.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-52282\" height=\"254\" src=\"https:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/eso1423d-1024x580.jpg\" title=\"Den h\u00e4r bilden av dubbelstj\u00e4rnesystemet HK Tauri kombinerar synligt ljus med infrar\u00f6d data fr\u00e5n NASA\/ESA Hubble Space Telescope med ny data fr\u00e5n ALMA. ALMA observationer av systemet har gett den klaraste bilden n\u00e5gonsin av protoplanet\u00e4ra skivor kring en dubbelstj\u00e4rna. Resultaten visar en m\u00f6jlighet f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rklara varf\u00f6r s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga exoplaneter - till skillnad fr\u00e5n planeter i solsystemet - har udda, excentriska och vinklade banor. Eftersom stj&auml;rnans sken <\/span><span>d&auml;mpas <\/span><span>av skivan kan astronomer enkelt f&aring; en bra bild av skivan genom att observera den i synligt eller kortv&aring;gigt infrar&ouml;tt ljus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span><strong>\u2606 F&ouml;ljeslagaren HK Tauri A har <\/strong>ocks&aring; en skiva, men i detta fall blockerar den inte stj&auml;rnljuset. Som ett resultat av detta kan skivan inte ses i synligt ljus eftersom dess svaga sken &ouml;vergl&auml;nsas helt av stj&auml;rnan. Men sett i ljus med v&aring;gln&auml;gd kring en millimeter, som ALMA l&auml;tt kan uppt&auml;cka, lyser den klart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span><strong>\u2606 Med hj&auml;lp av ALMA kunde<\/strong> forskargruppen inte bara kan se skivan runt HK Tauri A, utan ocks&aring; m&auml;ta dess rotation f&ouml;r f&ouml;rsta g&aring;ngen. <\/span><span>Detta gjorde det m&ouml;jligt f&ouml;r astronomerna att r&auml;kna ut att de tv&aring; skivornas rotationsplan skiljer sig fr&aring;n varandra med minst 60 grader. Ist&auml;llet f&ouml;r att rotera i samma plan som de tv&aring; stj&auml;rnorna m&aring;ste &aring;tminstone en av skivorna rotera i en helt annan vinkel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/eso1423e.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-52284\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.astb.se\/cassiopeiabloggen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/eso1423e-1024x576.jpg\" title=\"Den h\u00e4r bilden visar hur den viktig data av hastigheter fr\u00e5n ALMA har hj\u00e4lpt astronomer att best\u00e4mma att skivorna i HK Tauri \u00e4r snedst\u00e4llda.
