Bildk\u00e4lla: LU\/Lund Observatory<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 tio \u00e5r v\u00e5gar jag p\u00e5st\u00e5 att Frida mer och mer funnit sin unika&nbsp;plats inom svensk astronomi som landets f\u00f6rsta kvinnliga fil dr i astronomi och \u00e4ven inom internationell variabelforskning. &nbsp;Och s\u00e5 bra att vi var med och r\u00e4ddade hennes grav i Blentarp en g\u00e5ng!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Glad pristagarinna<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi har varit kontakt med <strong>Allison McGraw,<\/strong> den tredje pristagaren till <strong>Leif Anderssons<\/strong> &#8220;Award&#8221; vid UA (scrolla ner till f\u00f6rra bloggen). Allison \u00e4r mycket glad och hedrad \u00f6ver priset, som delvis kommit till genom&nbsp;en insamling av Leifs gamla skolkamrater i Falkenberg, &nbsp;och f\u00f6rklarar samtidigt vad den mystiska akronymen PTYS vid hennes universitet st\u00e5r f\u00f6r: &#8216;Planetary Science&#8217; som i &nbsp;<strong>P<\/strong>lane <strong>T<\/strong>ar <strong>Y<\/strong> <strong>S<\/strong>cience.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Klart som korvspad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ASTB:are p\u00e5 Deep sky-jakt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sensationellt nog har det varit riktigt skapliga kv\u00e4llar f\u00f6r stj\u00e4rnobservationer, och naturligtvis har v\u00e5ra astrotografer varit farten. <strong>Hans Hilderfors<\/strong> har \u00e4gnat sig \u00e5t n\u00e5gra exempel p\u00e5 interagerande, v\u00e4xelverkande galaxer d\u00e4r gravitationen &#8220;\u00e4lskar och sl\u00e5r ihj\u00e4l \/&nbsp;med samma varma sj\u00e4l&#8221;, f\u00f6r att citera <em>F\u00e4nrik St\u00e5ls s\u00e4gner.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trion i Lejonets stj\u00e4rnbild, Leo Triplett, \u00e4r en liten grupp av tre galaxer, M65, M66 och NGC 3628.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&#8211; Avst\u00e5ndet till oss uppskattas till 36 miljoner ljus\u00e5r. Galaxskivorna \u00e4r vinklade olika sett fr\u00e5n jorden. NGC 3628 ser vi mot kanten och den kallas ibland p\u00e5 grund av formen f\u00f6r &#8220;Hamburger&#8221;-galaxen. M66 (\u00f6verst till v\u00e4nster) och M65 \u00e4r vinklade s\u00e5 att vi kan se deras spiralstrukturer.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; <br>&#8211; De tre galaxerna interagerar via gravitationen med varandra. Detta syns tydligast i de utdragna och deformerade spiralarmarna i M66 samt den deformerade skivan som NGC 3628 uppvisar. Genom att kombinera m\u00e5nga korta exponeringar kan man delvis kompensera f\u00f6r detta\u00a0<br>\u00a0 <br>Hans p\u00e5pekar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M51 \u00e4r ett galaxpar i stj\u00e4rnbilden Jakthundarna som best\u00e5r av Malstr\u00f6msgalaxen (M51a) och dv\u00e4rggalaxen NGC 5195 (M51b). De \u00e4r listade i \u201dAtlas of Peculiar Galaxies\u201d som ett bra exempel p\u00e5 ett galaxpar som interagerar med varandra via gravitationen. De \u00e4r f\u00f6rbundna med varandra via en stoftrik \u201dtidvattenbrygga\u201d och man ser tydlig p\u00e5verkan p\u00e5 spiralstrukturen i M51a. Man ser ocks\u00e5 att M51b har en kraftigt f\u00f6rvr\u00e4ngd form. Min j\u00e4mf\u00f6relsestj\u00e4rna \u00e4r inte l\u00e4ngre Bellatrix utan Aldebaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jordens minim\u00e5ne p\u00e5 drift<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tack till ASTB:aren <strong>Jorge de Sousa Pires<\/strong>, som <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/science\/archive\/2020\/03\/mini-moon-earth-lost\/608455\/\">tipsar om en artikel <\/a>om jordens extra m\u00e5ne. Minim\u00e5nen kallad 2020 CD3&nbsp;inf\u00e5ngades&nbsp;genom jordens gravitation m\u00f6jligen f\u00f6r ett \u00e5r sedan&nbsp;och troddes&nbsp;ett tag &nbsp;snurra runt oss en tid till, men nu har den gett sig i v\u00e4g i en ny bana mot solen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fenomenet med &#8220;extram\u00e5nar&#8221; till jorden \u00e4r faktiskt inte nytt.
