F\u00f6r Chalmersastronomen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chalmers.se\/sv\/institutioner\/see\/nyheter\/Sidor\/Fyrverkerier-stjarnor-fods-tillsammans-Alma-Hubble.aspx\"><strong>Jonathan Tan<\/strong>, som ing\u00e5r i teamet bakom bilden, ger bilden nya insikter <\/a>om hur stj\u00e4rnor som v\u00e5r sol f\u00f6ds tillsammans.\u200b\u200b&nbsp;<br><strong> * De flesta stj\u00e4rnor i universum,<\/strong> inklusive v\u00e5r sol, f\u00f6ddes in i stora familjer av stj\u00e4rnor som kallas stj\u00e4rnhopar. Galaxer \u00e4r dessutom uppbyggda av stj\u00e4rnhopar. Hoparna sj\u00e4lva bildas ur t\u00e4ta molekylmoln, men hur det g\u00e5r till \u00e4r fortfarande till stor del ett mysterium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* I en ny, spektakul\u00e4r bild<\/strong> ser vi en ung&nbsp;stj\u00e4rnhop som just nu h\u00e5ller p\u00e5 att ta form. I bilden p\u00e5 hopen, som kallas G286.21+0.17, ing\u00e5r flera exponeringar i olika v\u00e5gl\u00e4ngder \u2013 sammanlagt fler \u00e4n 750 enskilda m\u00e4tningar \u2013 med teleskopet Alma (Atacama Large Millimeter\/submillimeter Array) samt en bild tagen i infrar\u00f6tt ljus av NASA\/ESA:s rymdteleskop Hubble. Teleskopet har f\u00e5ngat hur turbulent gas faller in mot hopens mitt, d\u00e4r gasen bildar t\u00e4ta k\u00e4rnor i vilka enskilda stj\u00e4rnor s\u00e5 sm\u00e5ningom kommer att t\u00e4ndas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* Stj\u00e4rnorna i bilden syns tack<\/strong> vare deras infrar\u00f6da ljus, registrerat av Hubbleteleskopet. H\u00e4r finns bland annat en st\u00f6rre grupp av stj\u00e4rnor som h\u00e5ller p\u00e5 att bryta ut fr\u00e5n molnens ena sida. De tyngsta av dessa stj\u00e4rnor lyser intensivt och bl\u00e5ser ut kraftfulla vindar, och det r\u00e4cker f\u00f6r att spr\u00e4nga bort delar av molekylmolnen. Kvar finns spillror som lyser svagt tack vare uppv\u00e4rmda stoftkorn (visas i gult och r\u00f6tt).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* Bilden f\u00e5ngar, i&nbsp;en enda stj\u00e4rnhop,<\/strong> stj\u00e4rnor som n\u00e5tt m\u00e5nga olika utvecklingsstadier. Det ber\u00e4ttar <strong>Yu Cheng<\/strong>, som&nbsp;\u00e4r astronom vid University of Virginia i Charlottesville, USA, och huvudf\u00f6rfattare till tv\u00e5 forskningsartiklar som publicerats i tidskriften Astrophysical Journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* Hubbleteleskopet avsl\u00f6jar h\u00e4r<\/strong> cirka tusen nybildade stj\u00e4rnor med olika massor, fr\u00e5n l\u00e4tta till tunga. Dessutom visar Almas m\u00e4tningar att det finns mycket mer massa i t\u00e4t gas som \u00e4nnu inte st\u00f6rtat samman.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Sammantaget kan processen ta minst en miljon \u00e5r att slutf\u00f6ra, f\u00f6rklarar Yu Cheng.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* Jonathan Tan, astronom vid Chalmers<\/strong> och University of Virginia, \u00e4r medf\u00f6rfattare och har \u00e4ven lett projektet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Detta illustrerar just hur dynamisk och kaotisk&nbsp;processen \u00e4r&nbsp;som leder till att stj\u00e4rnor f\u00f6ds. Vi ser konkurrerande krafter i&nbsp;aktion: tyngdkraft och turbulens fr\u00e5n molnet \u00e5 ena sidan, och stj\u00e4rnvindar och str\u00e5lningstryck fr\u00e5n de unga stj\u00e4rnorna \u00e5 andra sidan. Denna process skulpterar omr\u00e5det. Det \u00e4r en h\u00e4pnadsv\u00e4ckande tanke att v\u00e5r egen sol och planeterna en g\u00e5ng var en del av en s\u00e5dan kosmisk dans, s\u00e4ger han.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Svensk sf-film redan 1958<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r KB (Kungliga Biblioteket) f\u00f6r en tid \u00f6ppnade upp alla svenska tidningar under coronavirusets h\u00e4rjningar, slog <strong>Ahrvid Engholm <\/strong>till och b\u00f6rjade gr\u00e4va fram rariteter ur svensk sf-fandoms historia. Ett litet cineastiskt fynd: Jag trodde att&nbsp;<em>Jultomten fixar allt! (Santa Claus Conquers the Martians<\/em>)&nbsp;fr\u00e5n 1964 var den s\u00e4msta av alla sf-filmer. Nu ber\u00e4ttar Ahrvid&nbsp; om filmen <em>Rymdinvasion i Lappland (Terror in the Midnight Sun)<\/em>, ett US-svenskt filmprojekt. Han var duktig och l\u00e4t dessutom h\u00e4nga falskmyntare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detta hindrade inte att Newton var n\u00e4ra personlig konkurs i spekulationerna kring South Sea-bolagets aff\u00e4rer.
