Ibland kommer paren s\u00e5 n\u00e4ra varandra att den ena uppslukar den andra \u2013 med l\u00e5ngtg\u00e5ende konsekvenser. N\u00e4r ett Chalmerslett team av astronomer anv\u00e4nde teleskopet Alma f\u00f6r att studera 15 ovanliga stj\u00e4rnor, blev de f\u00f6rv\u00e5nade \u00f6ver att de alla nyligen genomg\u00e5tt denna fas. Uppt\u00e4ckten ger nya insikter om himlens mest dramatiska fenomen \u2013 och om liv, d\u00f6d och \u00e5terf\u00f6delse bland stj\u00e4rnorna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med hj\u00e4lp av j\u00e4tteteleskopet Alma i Chile studerade ett Chalmerslett forskarteam 15 ovanliga stj\u00e4rnor i v\u00e5r galax, Vintergatan \u2013 den n\u00e4rmaste p\u00e5 5000 ljus\u00e5rs avst\u00e5nd fr\u00e5n jorden. Teamets m\u00e4tningar visar att samtliga av stj\u00e4rnorna nyligen upplevt en fas i sin utveckling som l\u00e4nge g\u00e4ckat forskare, men som tros leda till m\u00e5nga andra astronomiska fenomen.
