Naturligt i solljuset finns de s\u00e5 kallade Fraunhoferska spektrallinjerna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r solljuset reflekteras p\u00e5 Jupiters yta p\u00e5verkas v\u00e5gl\u00e4ngden beroende p\u00e5 Jupiters rotation. Delar av planetytan som r\u00f6r sig mot oss skiftar v\u00e5gl\u00e4ngden mot bl\u00e5tt och delar som r\u00f6r sig fr\u00e5n oss mot r\u00f6tt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6r l\u00e5ga hastigheter \u00e4r v\u00e5gl\u00e4ngdsskiftet \u0394\u03bb = (V&nbsp;x&nbsp;&nbsp;\u03bb)\/C d\u00e4r V = hastigheten och C = ljusets hastighet i vakuum ( 300&nbsp;000 km\/s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jag tog med en spaltspektrometer ett spektrum fr\u00e5n Jupiter 2023-10-30. Teleskopet justerades s\u00e5 att spalten l\u00e5g \u00f6ver Jupiters ekvator, se&nbsp;<strong>bild 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spektrumet visar i princip bilder p\u00e5 spalten uppdelad i v\u00e5gl\u00e4ngd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bild 2<\/strong>&nbsp;visar delar av detta spektrum vid de Fraunhoferska linjerna D1 och D2. Man ser att dessa linjer lutar p\u00e5 grund av dopplerskift. Mittpunkten har inget dopplerskift medan \u00e4ndarna skiftat mot r\u00f6tt respektive bl\u00e5tt p\u00e5 grund av Jupiters rotation.
