Det ultravioletta ljuset fr\u00e5n explosionen visar att den r\u00f6da j\u00e4ttestj\u00e4rnan som exploderade l\u00e5g inb\u00e4ddad i gas som pyst ut under \u00e5ren innan slutsm\u00e4llen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Den n\u00e4rmaste supernovan p\u00e5 n\u00e4stan 10 \u00e5r, SN 2023ixf, uppt\u00e4cktes av en japansk amat\u00f6rastronom p\u00e5 fredagkv\u00e4llen den 19 maj f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret (2023). &nbsp;<br>Bara 20 miljoner ljus\u00e5r bort i Vindsnurregalaxen (M101) i Stora Bj\u00f6rns stj\u00e4rnbild blev den en favorit bland jordens astrofotografer (se Bild).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Tv\u00e5 bilder av en spiralgalax. I den senare syns supernovan\" src=\"https:\/\/www.su.se\/polopoly_fs\/1.725379!\/image\/image.JPG_gen\/derivatives\/wideBanner_1468\/image.JPG\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em> Bilden \u00e4r tagen med ett litet amat\u00f6rteleskop fr\u00e5n s\u00f6dra Gotland och visar spiralgalaxen M101 b\u00e5de f\u00f6re och efter explosionen av supernova SN 2023ixf. Denna nya bild av monstret Vintergatans hj\u00e4rta \u00e4r tagen i polariserat ljus och avsl\u00f6jar en magnetf\u00e4ltsstruktur som \u00e4r sl\u00e5ende lik den i det svarta h\u00e5let i mitten av galaxen M87. Resultaten publiceradesig\u00e5r (27.3.)  i <em>The Astrophysical Journal Letters.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00f6rsvaret har f\u00e5tt en egen rymdchef<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ella Carlsson<\/strong> heter hon, F\u00f6rsvarsmaktens f\u00f6rsta rymdchef med en livsl\u00e5ng passion f\u00f6r astronomi bakom sig. Hon presenteras i ett f\u00e4rskt nummer av <em>Curie<\/em>, en l\u00e5ng h\u00e4rlig artikel i vilken ber\u00e4ttas att hon doktorerat p\u00e5 Mars, studerat p\u00e5 Nasa och att hon sen barnsben \u00e4lskar <em>Stj\u00e4rnornas krig<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allt fler l\u00e4nder satsar nu p\u00e5 ett milit\u00e4rt f\u00f6rsvar \u00e4ven i rymden. S\u00e5 ocks\u00e5 Sverige.
