Handledare <strong>Peter Hemborg<\/strong> f\u00f6rst\u00e5s. Hilda kommer fr\u00e5n den kristna Mariaskolan bortom Stadionomr\u00e5det i Malm\u00f6 d\u00e4r Equmeniakyrkan \u00e4ven ligger, en kyrka d\u00e4r jag pratat b\u00e5de om astronomi och annat  genom \u00e5ren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jag hoppas Hilda \u00e5terkommer i <em>Cassiopeiabloggen<\/em> fram\u00f6ver &#8211; nedan  f\u00f6ljer hennes bidrag om jakten p\u00e5 planeten X, &#8220;Den mystiska, ouppt\u00e4ckta planeten&#8221; som tidigt fick <strong>Mike Browns <\/strong>signatur &#8211; det var Brown som st\u00f6rtade Pluto fr\u00e5n rollen som v\u00e5r nionde planet. Foto: W-bloggen<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;En g\u00e5ng i tiden bestod v\u00e5rt solsystem av nio planeter &#8211; de fyra inre planeterna, de fyra yttre och sedan Pluto, den mest avl\u00e4gsna av dem alla. Pluto klassificerades l\u00e4nge som v\u00e5r nionde planet, men \u00e5r 2006 omklassificerades den av Internationella Astronomiska Unionen efter att nya kriterier f\u00f6r vad som kan kallas en planet inf\u00f6rdes. Enligt de nya kriterierna, f\u00f6r att ett objekt ska kunna bli kallad en planet, m\u00e5ste den:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Kretsa runt solen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ha en rund form p\u00e5 grund av sin egen gravitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ha \u201crensat sin omloppsbana\u201d fr\u00e5n andra sm\u00e5 kroppar&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pluto klarade av sig de tv\u00e5 f\u00f6rsta kriterierna, men tyv\u00e4rr inte det tredje. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r omklassificerades Pluto f\u00f6r en dv\u00e4rgplanet, eftersom den bor i Kuiperb\u00e4ltet &#8211; en region d\u00e4r det \u00e4r tr\u00e5ngt med isiga kroppar, vilket g\u00f6r att den inte \u00e4r den enda som snurrar runt sin bana, utan \u00e4ven andra objekt g\u00f6r det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c4r planet 9 uppt\u00e4ckt?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6r att vara tydligt har inte planet 9 blivit uppt\u00e4ckt \u00e4n, men eftersom Kuiperb\u00e4ltet tog bort v\u00e5r nionde planet ifr\u00e5n oss, tror forskare att det kan ge tillbaka en.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hur kan vi hitta planet 9?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Djup i yttre solsystemet &#8211; s\u00e5 l\u00e5ngt borta fr\u00e5n de bekanta planeterna &#8211; ligger en massivt, isig v\u00e4rld som v\u00e4ntar p\u00e5 att bli uppt\u00e4ckt av humanitet. Dagen vi kommer att hitta planeten \u00e4r snart, tack vare ett toppmodernt teleskop som kommer att b\u00f6rja skanna himlen i slutet av 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Varf\u00f6r spelar planet 9 roll?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forskare har ju inte uppt\u00e4ckt planet 9 \u00e4n, men en sak som de alla kan komma \u00f6verens om \u00e4r att om vi faktiskt hittar planet 9 skulle det vara \u00e5rhundradets st\u00f6rsta solsystemuppt\u00e4ckt.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Observationer av planeten kommer ocks\u00e5 att l\u00e4ra oss mer om gasj\u00e4ttens bildande och utveckling. Detta skulle dock inte bara l\u00e4ra oss mer om planeter i v\u00e5rt solsystem, utan ocks\u00e5 tusentals exoplaneter runt avl\u00e4gsna stj\u00e4rnor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om planeten hittas, vad kommer den att heta?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Batygin och Brown &#8211; tv\u00e5 astronomer som gav bevis f\u00f6r en planet som \u00e4r ungef\u00e4r 1,5 g\u00e5nger s\u00e5 stor som jorden, gav denna planet smeknamnet \u201cPlanet 9\u201d. Planeter f\u00e5r traditionellt deras namn fr\u00e5n mytologiska romerska och grekiska gudar, men de formella namnr\u00e4ttigheterna g\u00e5r till den person som faktiskt uppt\u00e4cker planeten, och m\u00e5ste sedan be om godk\u00e4nnande av IAU.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vad tycker du?
