Bildrikedomen \u00e4r stor p\u00e5 de sociala medierna, vi n\u00f6jer oss h\u00e4r med att \u00e5terge<strong> Staffan \u00c5kebys<\/strong> foto. Staffan \u00e4r en gammal v\u00e4n och  har f\u00f6rflutet som chef p\u00e5 Sk\u00e5nes djurpark och bor d\u00e4r uppe i trakterna. Om sina bilder ber\u00e4ttar Linn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark><strong>&#8220;<\/strong>Mina tre illustrationer <\/mark>\u00e4r en del av en serie bilder som jag kallar<em>&nbsp;Rymdkartor<\/em>. Detta \u00e4r samma symboler som kan ses p\u00e5 vissa av Messiers illustrationer av olika objekt, men jag har modifierat skalan n\u00e5got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark>Ut\u00f6ver Messier s\u00e5 var jag <\/mark>\u00e4ven inspirerad av topografiska kartor som med hj\u00e4lp av linjer visar saker som terr\u00e4ng och altitud. Men ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att visa det s\u00e5 t\u00e4nkte jag att jag kan anv\u00e4nda liknande linjer f\u00f6r att avbilda ljusa och m\u00f6rka omr\u00e5den i olika astronomiska objekt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark>N\u00e4r jag skapade illustrationerna<\/mark> hittade jag f\u00f6rst bilder p\u00e5 objekten som jag ville avbilda. Sedan anv\u00e4nde jag mig av ett program som heter Stellarium f\u00f6r att identifiera vilka stj\u00e4rnor som \u00e4r tillr\u00e4ckligt ljusstarka och f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 en symbol i bilden. Jag gjorde sen en enkel skiss av objektet och skapade all text och layout p\u00e5 datorn och skrev ut skissen. Sedan anv\u00e4nde jag ett ljusbord f\u00f6r att skapa den slutgiltiga bilden. F\u00f6r de tv\u00e5 svarta bilden har jag anv\u00e4nt en vanlig svart fineliner. Livet h\u00e4r p\u00e5 jorden \u00e4r inte tillr\u00e4ckligt&#8230;och varf\u00f6r skulle det vara det?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6rfattaren <strong>Friedrich&nbsp; H\u00f6lderlin <\/strong>levde och verkade mellan 1770-1843. Auroras occur when energetic particles, often originating from the Sun, become trapped in a planet\u2019s magnetic field and eventually strike the upper atmosphere. The energy released during these collisions creates the signature glow. Webb\u2019s detection of auroras on Neptune is the first time astronomers have captured direct evidence of this phenomenon on the planet most distant from the Sun. In addition to the visible glow in the imagery, the spectrum from Webb also found an extremely prominent emission line signifying the presence of the trihydrogen cation (H3+), which can be created in auroras.&nbsp; Neptune\u2019s auroras do not occur at the northern and southern poles of the planet, where we see auroras on planets like Earth and Jupiter, because of the strange nature of Neptune\u2019s magnetic field, which is tilted by 47 degrees from the planet\u2019s rotational axis. Webb\u2019s study of Neptune also revealed that the planet\u2019s upper atmosphere has cooled by several hundred degrees, likely the reason that Neptune\u2019s auroras have remained undetected for so long.
