Just detta moln \u00e4r mera sf\u00e4riskt \u00e4n andra liknande formationer. Molnet ligger i n\u00e4rheten av galaxen M94 och tycks v\u00e4xelverka med galaxen. Cloud-9 har samma r\u00f6df\u00f6rskjutning som M94 och befinner sig d\u00e4rf\u00f6r p\u00e5 samma avst\u00e5nd, \u223c4.4 Mpc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esahubble.org\/news\/heic2601\/?lang\" title=\"\">I pressrelisen fr\u00e5n ESA\/Hubble <\/a>ber\u00e4ttas att molnet \u00e4r 4900 ljus\u00e5r i diameter och att v\u00e4tets massa motsvarar ungef\u00e4r 1 miljoner ggr solens. Till molnets &#8220;ekvation&#8221; h\u00f6r n\u00e4rvaron av m\u00f6rk materia motsvarande  ca 5 miljarder solmassor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uppt\u00e4ckten \u00e4r ett resultat av ett stort internationellt samarbete senaste \u00e5r (500-metersradioteleskopet i Kina, Green Bank, amerikanska VLA).
